Wow we just past the 30,000 hit mark on our site. Big thanks to all visitors

The Canadian Inline Training Centre was built in late 2003 by Alex Perrie and his family. It is certainly the most unusual backyard in Canada with it’s 200m World class bank track and fitness training centre.

The first track was constructed in 1998 which was the site of the 2000 Canadian Nationals. This track was quite narrow and had irregular banking. Alex built this track for his 4 children after meeting the late Jan Porter when he helped assisted in coaching at clinic at the bank track in Colorado.

In 2002 Alex had the opportunity to referee the World Championships in Belgium. He was so impressed with the track in Oostende that when there was a rain delay he measured up the track and headed back to Canada to talk to some local contractors. A year later the new track was finished. The track was half a meter wider with slightly higher banks than it’s counter-part in Belgium. The CITC also has a full fitness facility and spinning studio.

Work has started on an area for camping and beach volleyball. There are numerous biking trails around the abandoned country railroad lines and quiet country roads. Less than 3 minutes down the road there is the Pike Lake 27 hole golf club with a luxury motel and restaurant. We are located in rural southwestern Ontario in the township of Minto.
